Pursuing Holiness by Faith and Manifestation

In our weakness, the Lord reveals His power, qualifying us as vessels. Without Him, we're powerless, but with Him, all things are possible. We must acknowledge The Lord as our Savior and Provider, living the Christian life through us.

As believers, we must understand the importance of sanctification. Hebrews 12:14 emphasizes the importance of seeking after holiness. Pursue peace with all people, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord. Holiness and sanctification, essentially the same, are lifelong journeys, not one-time events. Some wrongly separate holiness and sanctification. Both words come from 'hagios,' denoting separation unto God.

Another important thing to understand is the difference between faith and manifestation. Many believers don't realize that what God says in His Word is Spirit and must be spiritually discerned. The scripture that comes out from the mouth of God is of the spiritual realm and is a true reality.

There is a difference between the spiritual reality of what God has spoken in His Word and the physical manifestation(earthly reality) of what was already declared by God. The difference is the word of God exists outside of time (the physical realm) and space (also the physical realm) but rather it exists in the realm of the spirit and then manifests in the earthly realm. In the world of the Spirit, everything that has been spoken already exists. Therefore what is already spoken and done in the Spirit has in actuality been done apart from the earthly realm. The words that God has spoken are true and are already an actual reality, we are the ones that must come into agreement with Him and His Word.

For example, The scriptures declare that: All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. (Revelation 13:8) And the apostle Peter declared when speaking of Jesus, He was known before the foundation of the world, but was revealed in the last times for your sake. (1 Peter 1:20). So, according to these two passages of scripture, The Plan that Jesus would die, shedding His blood for the ones who would believe was planned out in ‘eternity past’ and therefore was already established and true. Now, as Peter stated in the verse above: but was revealed (manifested) in the last times for your (The called and elect) sake. So the Spiritual reality of the salvation Plan already existed in the spiritual realm and later (about 4,000 years from Adam) came into our existence in the earthly realm.

Faith is believing what God has spoken to be true and thereby standing firm on those promises until they manifest into our reality. Faith calleth those things which be not(unseen) as though they were(seen). (ref. Romans 4:17). Now faith is the certainty(Actual reality) of things hoped(hope is to wait for it to be manifested) for, a proof(an actual reality) of things not seen (the spiritual realm). (Hebrews 11:1) When we stand on what God has spoken, we essentially come into agreement with Him without physically having what He has declared that we actually have (I say actually because the things of the spirit are real), this is faith. Confusing faith and manifestation can lead to flawed doctrines.

Some people want quick change, but staying close to Jesus is important for making God’s promises come to pass. If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. (John 15:7) Becoming holy comes from believing in what Jesus did on the cross. It means being set apart from the world and getting closer to God. Faith means trusting in things that aren't visible yet and saying yes to promises before they come true. Jesus did one big thing that made holy the people who believed in Him.

Being seen as right with God happens when you have faith, and it manifests the blessings of God into your life. Believing something is true isn't sufficient. You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder. (James 2:19) It's a mistake to misinterpret holiness and use it as a reason to be careless.

Hebrews 10:26-27 gives us a very stern warning against willful sin after knowing the truth, which leaves no sacrifice for sins. Such rebellion leads to exclusion from sanctification's blessings. For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a terrifying expectation of judgment and THE FURY OF A FIRE WHICH WILL CONSUME THE ADVERSARIES. Hebrews 10:27 highlights the judgment and fiery retribution awaiting those who disregard sanctification. Belittling Christ's sanctifying sacrifice provokes grace.

Sanctification is essential for eternal life. But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life. (Romans 6:22). Those freed from sin and serving God bear fruit unto sanctification, echoing the Parable of the Sower, where only fruitful ones enter the kingdom.

So, let us pursue holiness, strengthen our faith, and remain close to Jesus, trusting in His promises. In doing so, we can experience the transformative power of sanctification and the blessings of eternal life.
