This is a very sad situation regarding a young Christian Nigerian woman who was asked about how she scored so high on her exam, and she gave the credit and glory to Christ by simply stating "Jesus." As a result, she was killed, tortured, and burned. The president of Nigeria didn’t do anything regarding justice because the nation is governed by Sharia law.
We are seeing Christian persecution, and the rest of the world is not reacting or hearing about what happens to Christians as a result of Muslims who kill Christians. This is again because the word of God specifically says that we will be hated by all nations for the name of Jesus. It is a very sad case, but this young lady stood up for Jesus Christ, and as a result, she will receive her crown and glory.
Christians all over the world, be ready for persecution to intensify. Don’t think just because this happened in Nigeria, where it is mostly run by Muslim law, that this will not happen in the West, because it is slowly creeping into the West and it’s happening on different levels. Maybe not to this extreme, but it doesn’t mean that this extreme will not come to nations in the West.
So, we need to: Number one, acknowledge that this is happening; number two, be there in prayer and in any way necessary for our brothers and sisters around the world who are going through persecution; and number three, prepare our faith for the time when persecution will come to the West.
